This week our Stockist Spotlight shines upon a natural indie shop in Purcellville, Virginia called Amberwing Apothecary, and we've got the inside scoop from owner Tiffany O'Reilly.
What inspired you to open your store?
After working in healthcare for over a decade and spending the last two decades studying and learning holistic alternatives, I became a certified herbalist. I wanted to offer a place for folks to visit either in person or virtually to find the highest quality natural products and healing alternatives. At the same time, I also wanted to partner with other small business owners who are masters of their craft and give them an opportunity to expand their footprint too! After all, it tends to take a village no matter what the goal. Why not support others while achieving my goals too?!

Always know there are options!

Simple, organic, natural.
How do you practice self care?
I always try to listen to what my body is telling me and asking for - be it foods, meditation or a walk down our dirt road.
What aspects of being a shop owner are your favorite?
Helping and guiding others to their best version of health and wellness.
Is there anything else you'd like to share with our readers?
I love teaching others as much as I love learning from others!

Those ‘words to live by’ are so powerful! We do have so many options, and when we understand that the words or action we choose can have wide-spread consequences, the value of deliberate intention becomes clear.
